Fragaria vesca ‘Yellow Wonder’ is a very productive alpine strawberry cultivar. It is considered a wild strawberry. Plants form clumps instead of producing runners. Flowering is initiated independent of day length which is called a day neutral cultivar. Productivity is comparable to top red fruiting cultivars. The fruit is a creamy yellow that is exceptionally sweet. Birds tend to ignore the fruit.
