We have collected and grown many alpine strawberry cultivars over the years. Each is unique and has its own characteristics. Among the most unique and sought after cultivars are French cultivars. It took us years to find and import Reine des Vallees. We imported it from France in 2010. Mignonette was selected from Reine and improves on the flavor of Reine, though we have found that Mignonette is less productive than Reine. Deesse des Vallees was also selected from Reine stock. Deesse has improved flavor and color and is very productive. This collection is the best of the best French cultivars.

The collection includes 100+ seeds of each of the 3 cultivars at a reduced price from buying each separately. Check the description pages of each cultivar sold in this collection for germination info and other info for that cultivar. We invite you to test and compare all three. We intend to do productivity trials of the three in 2026. Findings will be added to this description later in the year.

We test germination at least once a year on all lots that we sell and sell only the highest quality seed. Rest assured that we sell strawberry seeds with the best germ you are likely to find in the industry. And, we report the germ on each lot in the product description. Something that is not found almost anywhere in the seed industry. We go the extra mile to isolate plants that we grow for seed to insure genetic purity.
