The following are policies for Strawberry Seed Store
Minimum product purchase is $15 plus shipping and handling.
NO GMO’s OR Treated Seeds: We do not knowingly sell genetically altered or treated seed.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
Shipping/Handling Charges:
- We use USPS almost exclusively for shipping seeds worldwide. Shipping/Handling to any U.S. address is a flat rate of $5.00 plus a handling fee.
- We do not ship outside the U.S.
WE DO NOT SELL OR SHIP PLANTS OR PLUGS.
Returns: We do not accept returns. We have no way of knowing the conditions that the seed was exposed to while out of our control so we will not accept returns.
Refunds: We do not give refunds. All sales are final. In the event that there is a problem with the seed we will notify you and replace the seed. We sow nearly year round and are constantly aware of germination of all of the varieties we sell.
Delivery Damage: If your shipment is damaged, follow these steps:
- take pictures of the damaged shipment and send an email with a detailed explanation of the damage.
- Notify your local USPS office of the damage
- We will file a claim with the USPS and keep you informed of the status of the claim.
Descriptions, Photos and Illustrations are based on actual plants grown in our nursery whenever possible. Strawberry Seed Store accepts no liability on the basis of this information. Buyer understands that results may vary from those presented. The buyer is solely responsible for determining whether products purchased are suitable for intended uses and agrees to test the product under local conditions for this determination.
Germination tests are done annually on all seed lots offered for sale. Seed lots tested to have germination less than 60% will not be sold. Buyer understands that germination tests are done in a laboratory environment and conditions as close to ideal are employed. Actual germination may vary and the seller does not provide a germination warranty.
Liability: Strawberry Seed Store shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of the purchase or use of its seeds or other products, including loss or damage resulting from negligence or strict liability in tort, shall be limited to replacement of the dissatisfactory item or refund (see refund policy) of the purchase price. Nor shall Strawberry Seed Store be liable for any incidental or consequential loss or damage, including any loss or damage resulting from negligence or strict liability in tort.
